A pair of turbulent relationships form the framework for a dramatic play about uncomfortable connections and doing one's best navigating them. Explosive arguments and queer angst are punctuated by a breathing backdrop of thunder and wind, reacting to the characters' equally stormy and rapidly-changing moods and dynamics.
Vignettes are sprinkled throughout the show, acting as heightened moments that pull the characters into an abstract space to visualize and act out certain monologues and conversations in an extraordinary manner. They reveal a character's true feelings, with each vignette backed by swirling synth tracks and dreamy instrumentals.
