A piece that holds childhood imagination in both hands as its core message should be treated with the delicateness and creative freedom that one treats youth with. With whimsical bedtime stories and the growing pains of motherhood as my muses, I sought to compose music that would reflect the poetic, nostalgic feeling the show invoked with its memories cloaked in Shel Silverstein poems.
